People on computers are important too, it's just that console gamers are importanter, as it were, since they form a larger slice of the cake, or pie. Nowadays, games are usually made with the console market in mind. Having said that, I'm not disputing what Bubblegum said. Whether that's by default or design, I don't know, but the frame-rate limit or cap is there to prevent everybody running around like The Flash. It was just something I saw ages ago.Īnyway, removing the frame-rate limit will make the game go faster, because apparently the actual speed of the game itself is tied to the framerate. There was a thread about this ages ago, where somebody explained that the frame rate cap was due to the game engine itself.
